Home Flipping Profits Lowest Since Great Recession Link

Investor profit margins dropped to 25.5 percent in 2025, which is the lowest return on investment the industry has seen since 2008.
The average gross profit on a flip fell to about $66,000 as high purchase prices and stiff competition made it much harder for flippers to find good deals.
Flipping activity also slowed down, with less than 300,000 homes flipped nationwide, marking the lowest volume of sales since 2020.
